I’m in the Air Force but now I have the option to go home. The question is, do I want to?

Hey there, I’m currently in the Air Force and have been for a little while. Recently I have been given the option to be medically discharged and go home. Now it’s an option and completely up to me on what I decide. My question is what would you recommend? I miss home and would like to be able to be with my family again but on the other end I have a good career path and some great adventures I could go on. My life at home wasn’t bad and I wouldn’t have trouble finding work or anything.

I would be happy to answer your letter. You ask a good question.
In the past, when I have had a difficult decision to make, I have used a tool that I would like to share with you. I have always been happy with the results. That is to make a list of pros and cons. You may have already done this in your head but it really helps to put it in writing. You need to be totally honest with yourself when you do it. If the results are too close to call, you can take it a step further and add a numerical value to each answer and see what you get.
