Stuck in survival mode

At 25, I haven’t got a plan; I’m just getting through each day and turning down opportunities.

Let’s break you out of that, says our elder. It’s time to uncover your hidden qualities and talents.

Dear EWC

I don’t know but at the age of 25 I still don’t have a plan with my life and I don’t know what I really want to do. I don’t have a dream job, finance plan and all. Sometimes, my friends asked me, what is my plan? I answered them I just want to keep alive. I don’t know. There are some opportunities but I am reluctant to accept it because I don’t think that I can do it or I don’t deserve it. I don’t want to disappoint the people who put their trust in me. And I don’t want to disappoint myself as well. I hate it. I don’t really know. I don’t want them to trust them because I know in the end, I will disappoint them. I don’t know, maybe because a lot of responsibilities overwhelm me. Being part of a family where every day is a survival mode. Financially and emotionally. I gave up. I just want to live my life with complications because it’s already complicated since the beginning of my adulthood. And I really don’t know what kind of advice I really get from you. I just need someone who can understand my sentiments and all.
